Holiday Happenings

December has flown by! We have been busy crafting, creating, deck halls, and attending parties! Here are a few highlights...

Carli sang in her Christmas program at school. And she really rocked out when they performed Feliz Navidad (SP?)

We hung the stockings by the chimney with care...

Made lots of homemade crafts at school, church and home...

Went to the Live Nativity at our church. This was so amazing and the kids really enjoyed it.

Made a trip to see Santa!

And stopped to play in the snow... ok if you are reading this from UT don't laugh at our "fake" CA snow... it's all we got!

We made too many yummy treats to eat!

Decorated the tree... and shopped like crazy for gifts to go under it.

Carli was part of the Polar Express at school and made her own train! Both the kids had wonderful class parties too!

We made Chocolate gingerbread houses with friends.

Went to the Nutcracker Ballet and the Grinch in LA!

Had a Christmas party with Nammy and got a Wii our very first video game!

And today we went ice skating... maybe I will post those pics after xmas... but for now I have to pack cuz we are on our way up North to spend Christmas with family!

Merry Chirtsmas to all!!!

Perfect Picnic Day

A few weeks ago when all the trees were changing colors we took a walk in our new neighborhood and had a picnic.
At the end of our cul-de-sac we have a little park with a playset, swings, bball courts and walking trails...
We followed the trails and found a perfect picnic spot.
Of course, a picnic is not complete without a sweet treat!

As the sun set on our fun family day I found peace in our new place to call home.
The next day we went to check out the Lib. and this is the view we found!

I think we are going to like it here!

Papa Stan made a new bike for the big 8 year old.. it really is great to be 8.

We are so proud of you Jeremiah. It was a very special day for all of us.
