Halloween Spirit

Carli and Nammy baked a Pumpkin Pie from scratch... the only problem was no one around here likes Pumpkin Pie, but, I know they had a good time doing it together.
So, for FHE we ate the store bought Chocolate Chip Cookie instead... we did add the 8 ourselves in honor of Jeremiah doing Its Great to be 8! He is preparing for baptism.

We have pulled out the window markers once again now that the window is not so hot from the sun. I love FALL weather... when we get it.

We decorated our pumpkins in hope that Halloween will soon be here...

Rise and Shine

This is what I awoke to early Sunday morning. It was one of those mornings when I just wanted to pull the covers over my head and stay in bed forever. Then my little girl comes in shouting and jumping for JOY. She is so proud of herself because she got ready for church without any help... there really wasn't a better motivator to get me out of bed.

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

Thanks Sarah for letting me borrow Lizzy. She and Carli had a great time playing in the petals.

Munchkins and Pumpkins

I love taking the little munchkins to the pumpkin patch. Traditions are something that we really enjoy. This year the kids found all kinds of interesting stuff at the patch. We brought home spotted pumpkins, white pumpkins, red pumpkins and even an orange one! The kids got to pick the pumpkins right off the vine!

Bryce liked to test out his pumpkins to make sure they not only looked good but sounded good to. He likes to use them as drums.

Carli was eager to prove her strength and Independence as always... she couldn't carry it all the way and decided rolling it is better than asking for help.

The kids really liked the unusual looking ones.

We saw the entire life cycle of the pumpkin from seeds to flowers to the little green balls...

Jeremiah found some really cool pumpkins...

We also got to check out sunflowers and show the kids what the seeds look like before they are cooked... and Bryce found a TRACTOR to play on which was the highlight of his day!

Baseball....

We have had a lot of Baseball on our TV with the Dodgers in the playoffs and now my youngest son (Bryce) sits on the couch and says "baseball!!!" if it is not on the TV") I think my Dad and Grandpa would be proud as they are HUGE baseball fans!
