Munchkins and Pumpkins

I love taking the little munchkins to the pumpkin patch. Traditions are something that we really enjoy. This year the kids found all kinds of interesting stuff at the patch. We brought home spotted pumpkins, white pumpkins, red pumpkins and even an orange one! The kids got to pick the pumpkins right off the vine!

Bryce liked to test out his pumpkins to make sure they not only looked good but sounded good to. He likes to use them as drums.

Carli was eager to prove her strength and Independence as always... she couldn't carry it all the way and decided rolling it is better than asking for help.

The kids really liked the unusual looking ones.

We saw the entire life cycle of the pumpkin from seeds to flowers to the little green balls...

Jeremiah found some really cool pumpkins...

We also got to check out sunflowers and show the kids what the seeds look like before they are cooked... and Bryce found a TRACTOR to play on which was the highlight of his day!

Wow, these are GREAT pictures...that sunflower field is amazing. I also love the serious one of Jeremiah with his pumpkins. He looks so old...and the two of Bryce with the sunflowers.

They're ALL good, though.

=)

I also like Carli rolling her pumpkin and Jason Mraz and the new header.

=)

PS. But you need to change Carli's blurb to say that she has a lot of firsts this year. (You left out a word.)

These photos are amazing. I need to take my kids to get pumpkins still. I love places you can pick them from the vine. What a great day for the kiddos!
