Restoring Order

We spent a lot of time out of town for the holidays this year.  Which was fun... but getting the kids back into a schedule not so fun.  After the holidays we have had colds, the flu and kidney stones in our home... so there has been lots of chaos.  I do not do chaos well. I have decided to take the control back and restore order to our home.  We spent our Sunday afternoon making behavior, bedtime and chore charts.  I feel much better!  Now here is hoping they work:)

I know what you mean about restoring order! Things have been so crazy since Callie was born. I am finially feeling like we are back into a routine. I know its not going to last though. Never does around here. I loved your blog about being a Mom. I totally agree! It is werid how fast things change and all of a sudden your "Mom" I stop myself all the time and think I am a Mom that is so werid. I love it though!

I would love to restore order but the Josh(15 months) loves to empty every drawer he can open. He is faster than me. So my blog is suffering. Maybe I can catch up this month. I hope your chore charts work!!

Uh-oh. And now you're going on another holiday vacation for Valentine's Day!

Bad for your family organization...but good for me.

heehee =)

I'll be copying this idea ASAP. The twins and me are really struggling. They might just behave better with some motivation and rewards. My older two are good about routine but need chore charts. It's so important, yet so overwhelming. When we get back from our cruise this will be a family night for us. Thanks.

Oh and good luck on your run. Have a wonderful weekend and date night in the bay area.

{Atleast they let us think we are in charge}
